Abstract

Wikipedia and other WikiMedia projects contain amazing amounts of knowledge. The WikiMedia project known as Wikidata provides semantic structure to that knowledge. This addition of Wikidata provides an incredibly useful basis for next-generation research, learning, and teaching tools. This session explores the potential capabilities of such tools, and how Wikidata can become increasingly instrumental in their realization. One of the example tools used in the presentation will be the free, open-source, tool at http://WikiBrowser.io which is being developed by the speaker.
