What it is about: In this session we will give a basic introduction to Wikisource, Wikivoyage and OpenStreetMap, sister projects of Wikipedia. Wikisource is a digital library, Wikivoyage a travel-guide, and OpenStreetMap a map of the world. All the projects are free and collaborative, supported by several communities around the world. Together with Wikipedia, they all support the mission of "giving every person in the world access to the sum of human knowledge": thing about knowing a city from a quote from a book, an illustration of its neighbourhoods, a detailed map of its roads. Information can be anything, and the world it's too complex to fit in just an encyclopaedia.
