About Me
In my day job, I am an Associate Professor of Communication at the University of Washington. I have more webpages than I can reasonably count and my current policy is to try to not aggravate this problem so I'm going to be brief.
If you are interested in hearing me talk about myself, my projects, and other things that I do, you can read any of the pages linked below:

- Member (and former board member) of the Cascadia Wikimedians User Group.
- Contributor to the English Wikipedia. See my userpage there.
Some ways I participated in the past:
- While it was active, I was honored to be a member of the Wikimedia Foundation Advisory Board.
- Contributor to the English Wikiversity, where I created a Software Freedom Curriculum.
- In 2007, I helped run the elections for the Wikimedia Foundation's board of directors.
- To a small degree, I assisted in the organization of Wikimania 2006 in Cambridge, Massachusetts:
- I helped out the program committee in organizing the program.
- I helped organize Wikimania Hacking Days
