Developing countries are facing a lot of problems, including economic crisis, civil wars, displacements, terrorism, illiteracy, limited access to the internet, etc.
The gap between the developed countries and the developing countries is widen. We can recognize the shortage in the articles about history of developing countries or at least limited information. Also, articles about administrative divisions, cities, biographies, events..
A lot of articles are written by Wikipedian did not visit these countries and they have very limited information about their culture.
New countries in the 21st century (for example, East Timor and South Sudan) require new articles and to rewrite old article to update them as per recent changes.
History of many countries with crisis (such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Somalia) should be written by people (or editors) from those countries. Actually, I experienced some problems from editors from developed countries who think that they know everything and they think we know nothing.
governments are problems as there may be laws prevents photography in public places. Also, they do not provide official data to enrich contents about their countries.
Another problem is that concept of notability. We can notice the use of double standards by some editors. A lot of events and personnels are considered without notability but they deserve creating an article about them in Wikipedia in the opinion of editors from developing countries.
We need to encourage and support editors from all over the world to enrich Wikipedia, Commons and other Wikimedia projects by files and information from their own countries.
We need to support user groups and communicate with communities and governments.
