Abstract

To strengthen the web-of-trust between Wikipedians from different countries I would like to host a PGP-keyparty at the Wikimania. Of course this would be not a talk, but more of a workshop.

I have experience of hosting keyparties. I organized those at several Wikicons (the German version of the Wikimania), WMDE-chapters-meetings, OTRS-meetings, and other places.

The User “Allan Aguilar” also planed to host such a party (see the wikimania-mailinglist). There was the idea to host the party together, because he is a beginner (see also wikimania-mailinglist).
