Abstract

Wikipedia Zero is a chance to bring free information and knowledge to more people, especially in the Global South. Wikipedia Zero is also criticized to hurt net neutrality. After same Global South countries made laws to protect net neutrality and in countries like India the protest against violation of net neutrality through zero-rated services increased - this panel will show ways how Wikimedia can find a good balance between being part of the open web movement protecting net neutrality and continuing its mission to bring free knowledge to many people around the world.

The Talk will be 3x6 Minutes.
