Wiki Loves Voices aims to create a public domain repository for sound samples of people from all over the world. The voice sound samples can be used for different software (like for example GPS audio guide), Wikipedia articles or a time capsule sent in space just like the Voyager recording. The project has following aims:
-audio sample recording in all languages of the numbers;
-audio sample recording in all languages of the alphabet;
-audio sample recording in all languages of the main phrases used in audio GPS guides.
-audio sample recording in all languages of the main phrases used in elevators;
-audio sample recording in all languages of the main phrases in each language welcome, good morning etc.);
-audio sample recording in all languages of the animals in each language (welcome, good morning etc.).
WikiLovesVoices is encouraged to be adapted by other communities in a same fashion as WikiLovesMonuments.
