Abstract

Wikipedia Education Program ambassadors in Egypt, either campus ambassador or online, play a prominent role in helping all students, encouraging them to nominate their excellent content to be a featured and good articles in Arabic Wikipedia.

Those campus ambassadors are involved in academic courses as a part of their role volunteering, they may be students, staff faculty, and local residents who provide face-to-face Wikipedia training and support on university campuses by holding workshops and presentations for the whole students, professors and Wikipedians and creating brochures to teach them "How to edit Wikipedia"step by step and follow them to answer any question. While those online ambassadors are experienced Wikipedia editors who are interested in helping and supporting students during their classroom assignments to add encyclopedic content to the Arabic Wikipedia and Wikipedia Education Program in Egypt by nominating their excellent content and directing them to appropriate resources.
