Abstract

CEE Spring is an article writing contest, which was first staged in the countries collaborating in Wikimedia Central and Eastern Europe in 2015 and will be staged again between 21 March and 31 May 2016. In a 30 minute talk the contest will be presented. The focus will be on the impact it has on the regional partnership and the wikicommunities in the region, but the talk will also include how it is being organised, led, staged and evaluated. The lessons learned from the contests will be shown and its adjustment for other regions and communities will be discussed.
